Position Announcement: Senior Fellowship
The Topos Partnership is announcing the creation of a new senior fellowship – Senior Fellow for Race and Ethnicity. The Senior Fellow will have the opportunity to help shape public conversations touching on some of the most challenging and important topics currently at play in U.S. society and politics. The fellowship will be supported through a grant focusing on the role of the public sector.

· Communicator: collaborate with client organizations to adapt Topos’ research-based
communications recommendations to specific issues, needs and context, and provide
technical assistance.

Successful candidates for a Topos Fellowship should have:

· Senior level (10+ years) experience running projects, managing teams and/or organizations,
and seeing projects through to completion;
· Educational and professional expertise in one or more fields relevant to Topos’ work –
e.g. policy analysis, public administration, community organizing, issue advocacy,
communications, public opinion research; and

About Topos
Founded by veteran communications strategists Axel Aubrun, Meg Bostrom and Joe Grady, Topos has as its mission to explore and ultimately transform the landscape of public understanding where public interest issues play out. Our approach is based on the premise that while it is possible to achieve short-term victories on issues through a variety of strategies, real change depends on a fundamental shift in public understanding. Topos was created to bring together the range of expertise needed to understand existing issue dynamics, explore possibilities for creating new issue understanding, develop a proven course of action, and arm advocates with new communications tools to win support.
